The door stops short of the floor and leaves a gap at the bottom
Why it happens
The down travel limit is the setting that decides where the door stops on the way down.
Why it matters
Fewer than seven in ten Mount Coolum dwellings were separate houses at the 2021 Census - 62.3%, where more than seven in ten across the Sunshine Coast were, at 73.1%. Structure is all that count measures. A door that stops short is not a closed door, whatever kind of dwelling it is on.
Response
Once that limit has moved, or has been left where it was after a motor head was swapped, the door stops where the setting says rather than where the floor is. Thom checks where the door actually meets the floor against where the limit setting is stopping it, resets the limit, then rechecks the force.
